Description: Radiation Therapists are responsible for approximately 130 patient treatments/scans each day. Dedicated external beam therapists operate treatment machines. Simulation dedicated staff operate CT and MRI machines. The age range of patients varies from infants to geriatrics. A wide variety of acuity is required, including ambulatory, inpatient, and outpatient care. Interviews will be conducted with all applicants prior to offering positions. Due to the complexities in technology and standard work, experience is essential. The facility offers a supportive environment for both staff and patients. Travelers will float within the service line as necessary. No weekend or on-call coverage is required. Candidates should be prepared to work a rotating day off schedule. Candidates must comply with certification requirements. No local candidates are accepted within a specific radius. A maximum of 7 days of request time off is permitted. Optional changes in schedule must be approved beforehand.
