Your Role as a Respiratory Therapist:

• Deliver Respiratory Therapy Treatments: Administer life-saving treatments including oxygen therapy, mechanical ventilation, and aerosol therapy for patients with respiratory conditions such as asthma, COPD, pneumonia, and more.
• Monitor and Assess Respiratory Function: Perform assessments to monitor patient progress, adjusting care plans as needed to ensure optimal respiratory function.
• Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate and implement personalized care plans for patients.
• Educate Patients and Families: Provide patients and their families with essential information on respiratory care, management of chronic conditions, and medication adherence for long-term wellness.
• Ensure Patient Safety: Maintain accurate records, ensure compliance with safety protocols, and educate patients on best practices for respiratory health.

What You'll Need to Be Successful:

• Active Respiratory Therapist (RT) license
• National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) certification required
• New grads are encouraged to apply!
• Previous experience in respiratory therapy preferred, but not required
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to assess patient needs and adjust care plans accordingly
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with healthcare teams
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment
