Customer Service Representative – Lubbock, TX Position number: 173047 We are looking for a friendly, organized customer service representative to support our patients and staff. The role involves scheduling, coordinating appointments, handling patient inquiries, insurance verification, and maintaining accurate records. Responsibilities Handle patient scheduling, appointments, and multi‑phone line. Gather new patient data and track all patient referrals. Disseminate information to patients, acting as a liaison between patients and physicians. Send and keep a log of all reports sent to doctors. Collect all payments and verify insurance. Collect/open mail and distribute it to the proper areas and people. Send benefits paperwork to billing companies. Answer phones and address any questions from potential or current patients. Schedule patients; coordinate evaluations, re‑evaluations, appointment reminders, and cancellations. Collect new patient intake information and track all clinic referrals. Fax reports to physicians and keep a log of incoming reports. Verify insurance coverage and take copayments. Communicate with the office manager and clinicians about scheduling and patient arrival. Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (or GED). Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Excellent communication, multitasking, and detail‑oriented skills.
