RecruitWell is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a locums Primary Care opportunity in Cheshire, Connecticut. This outpatient assignment will provide coverage for a maternity leave and offers a full-time weekday schedule with strong clinical support in place.

Position Details

Location: Cheshire, Connecticut
Coverage Dates: September 1, 2026 - December 31, 2026
Schedule: Monday-Friday
Hours: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM with lunch built into the schedule
Practice Setting: Outpatient Primary Care
Coverage Reason: Maternity Leave
Coverage Needed: Full-time

Practice Highlights

APP will support a single physician practice
Average 20 patients per day
Outpatient only
No procedures required
No weekends

Support Staff

4 Front Desk team members
3 Medical Assistants
Potentially 2 additional APPs

Candidate Requirements

Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Active Connecticut license required
Minimum 5+ years Family Medicine experience required
Primary care/outpatient experience strongly preferred
Local Drive-In Candidates Preferred
