Job Description Conduct physical examinations and evaluate patient symptoms, medical histories, and overall health Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions Prescribe medications, treatments, immunizations, and preventive care services Order and interpret laboratory testing, diagnostic studies, and medical imaging Educate patients regarding medications, nutrition, hygiene, disease prevention, and healthy lifestyle choices Refer patients to specialists and coordinate follow-up care when appropriate Monitor patients with high-risk, urgent, or complex medical conditions Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient visits, diagnoses, treatment plans, and follow-up recommendations Review patient records, medications, allergies, immunization status, and previous medical history Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and other members of the care team Support clinical staff development and help identify training needs Maintain professional relationships with patients, employees, community partners, and other stakeholders Follow all organizational safety, infection control, privacy, HIPAA, and compliance requirements Qualifications Medical degree from an accredited MD or DO program Active California medical license in good standing Active California DEA registration Completion of an accredited residency program in Family Medicine or a related primary care specialty Board certified or board eligible within the applicable specialty Current Basic Life Support certification through an American Heart Association approved program BLS certification must include an in-person, hands-on skills assessment Experience providing direct primary care to adult and pediatric patients Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced clinical environment Strong organizational, documentation, and patient service skills Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Ability to manage confidential patient and employee information professionally and ethically Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
