DevOps Engineer (Ansible, Automation)
Position Type: Full-Time Contract (40hrs/week) Contract Duration: 6 months Work Hours: EST Work Schedule: 8 hours/day (Mon-Fri) Location: 100% Remote (Candidates can work from anywhere in LATAM or India or USA)
Job Description
The project focuses on: Migration and modernization of infrastructure automation from Puppet to Ansible, stabilization and optimization of the current Intex platform setup supporting SPG and broader SANCAP processes, documentation and operational transition from the current single-resource support model, and preparation of the environment and processes for future ARDA integration. The initiative combines:
- infrastructure automation
- operational support
- ETL/integration coordination
- structured finance platform support
Candidate Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Ansible
- playbooks
- roles
- inventories
- templating (Jinja2)
- Ansible Tower/AWX preferred
Also:
- Experience migrating from Puppet to Ansible
- Linux/Unix administration experience
- Scripting skills (Python, Bash, or Shell scripting)
- Familiarity with ETL/data integration workflows
- Understanding of scheduled jobs, batch processing, or backend data pipelines
- Experience working with SQL-based environments
- Fully fluent in English
