Responsibilities Help to establish and maintain community relationships and friendships. Assist individuals with daily routines including household tasks, cooking and eating, self‑care, socializing, leisure time use, health and safety, money management, and behavior management. Administer medications. Provide transportation. Document services and events through an online computer program. Qualifications 18 years or older, high school diploma preferred, one year of experience delivering services to individuals with disabilities. Valid driver’s license, access to an insured vehicle, clean driving record, and ability to pass a DHS background study. Basic computer skills. Working Conditions Flexible hours, including split shifts and overnight cycles, with potential coverage at other sites. Travel occurs regularly and work takes place in various indoor and outdoor settings. The role involves frequent interruptions, deadlines, and physical demands such as sitting, walking, bending, lifting, and reaching. Interactions may involve individuals, families, friends, and the public who can be hostile or upset. Exposure to aggressive behavior, infectious diseases, odors, and dust is possible.
