·The anticipated starting base salary range for individuals expressing interest in this position is $220,000 to $280,000 per year. 

In your day-to-day, you will:

· Provide advanced medical and interventional cardiology care, diagnosing and managing a broad range of complex cardiac conditions in both outpatient and hospitalized patients.
· Perform and interpret echocardiograms, thoracic radiographs, electrocardiograms (ECGs), and Holter or telemetry monitoring to guide patient diagnosis and treatment planning.
· Collaborate closely with Internal Medicine, Oncology, Surgery, Neurology, Ophthalmology, Emergency & Critical Care, and other specialty services to deliver comprehensive multidisciplinary patient care.
· Assist in the intake, evaluation, and ongoing management of hospitalized cardiology patients while supporting continuity of care across specialties.
· Accept and manage both community referral cases and internal specialty referrals, building strong relationships with referring veterinarians and hospital colleagues.
· Create individualized treatment plans and guide pet owners through cardiac diagnoses, treatment options, and long-term management strategies with empathy, clarity, and confidence.
· Facilitate in-house specialty consultations and provide expert cardiovascular support to Emergency and Critical Care teams as needed.
· Maintain thorough and accurate medical records while ensuring timely communication with clients and referral partners.
· Participate in collaborative rounds, case discussions, educational initiatives, and mentoring opportunities that contribute to ongoing professional growth and clinical excellence.
· Contribute to a hospital culture centered on learning, collaboration, innovation, and exceptional patient outcomes.

What You Bring

· DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with eligibility for state veterinary licensure.
· Board Certification in Cardiology (DACVIM-Cardiology) or Residency Trained/Board Eligible in Cardiology.
· Strong communication skills with a compassionate, client-centered approach.
