Responsibilities

Pediatrix® Medical Group is seeking a dedicated Neonatal Hospitalist to join our expanding team at HCA Florida North Florida Hospital. This is an exceptional opportunity to practice newborn care in a high-acuity environment with the autonomy, collaboration, and support you need to thrive. • Flexible scheduling designed to support long-term work-life balance

• 8-hour daytime shifts-no deliveries, no overnight call

• Daily responsibilities include newborn nursery rounding, supervising family medicine residents, and performing circumcisions

A Robust, High-Acuity Practice

• 25-bed Level III NICU (ADC: 17)

• 36-bed Newborn Nursery (ADC: 14)

• ~3,500 annual deliveries

• Care for all gestational ages (excluding surgical cases)

• Advanced services include body cooling, oscillators, and a dedicated RN/RT-staffed regional transport team

Collaborative, Multidisciplinary Team

Work alongside experienced Neonatologists, NNPs, OB Hospitalists, MFM specialists, and telehealth subspecialists.

Opportunities to teach and mentor University of Central Florida family medicine residents.
