Jackson’s Food Company runs on premium avocado oil and heroic people. We’re delivering safe, high‑quality snacks while disrupting the market with rapid growth—300% expansion in 2024 and 200%+ expected in 2025.
What you’ll do- Validate short‑ and long‑term production schedules so every ingredient and package is where it needs to be—on time and in full.
- Partner with Operations on LTOs, new sizes, new seasonings, and product transitions; align inbound materials to the production plan with the Supply Chain Team.
- Collaborate with the Planner to translate demand into precise material requirements.
- Compare forecasted vs. actual demand using historical production data; refine supplier forecasts accordingly.
- Own supplier lead times and pricing; coordinate with Finance to keep cost and reporting data accurate.
- Protect shelf life across raw materials through smart ordering, rotation, and timing.
- Review production output and consumption variances; work with Operations to close gaps and reduce waste.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels to support scheduled runs without excess.
- Create and manage POs, blanket orders, and releases with speed and accuracy.
- Communicate directly with suppliers to anticipate demand swings and keep production flowing.
- Track short‑term avocado oil deliveries; coordinate with DHL and other carriers to ensure timely arrivals.
- Issue and adjust potato POs in line with the current delivery schedule.
- Procure non‑production items (office supplies, production PPE) to support daily operations.
- Enhance ERP processes across inventory, purchasing, and related workflows.
- Identify and implement cost‑reduction initiatives within the production process.
You’ll collaborate closely with the Supply Chain Director to champion effective procurement practices and elevate supplier performance.
