Clinical Specialist, Joint Replacement - Long Island, NY

Field-based clinical specialist role supporting orthopedic surgeons in joint replacement procedures on Long Island. Provides operative assistance with robotic and manual techniques, including pre-operative planning, equipment setup, and real-time procedural support while building clinical expertise through hands-on training.
Responsibilities
- Assist surgeons with pre-operative CT-based planning, implant sizing, and positioning using Mako software
- Prepare cases including instrumentation checks, equipment setup, and operating room readiness
- Troubleshoot technical issues efficiently during surgical procedures
- Support account coordination including inventory management, logistics, and case documentation
- Provide on-call coverage including evenings, weekends, and holidays for urgent cases
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, or associate degree with 4+ years related experience, or high school diploma with 6+ years experience
- Valid driver's license and fluency in written and spoken English
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Capacity to manage high-pressure operating room situations professionally
- Previous clinical experience (nursing, physical therapy, surgical technology, or related field) preferred
- One year of relevant work experience preferred
Compensation: $71,900 - $100,000 USD annual
