Minimum 6 months Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Support meaningful learning experiences as a full-time special education paraprofessional in a self-contained classroom for the upcoming school year. Qualifications and Skills:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional or similar support role in an educational setting
• Familiarity with special education needs and strategies for supporting diverse learners
• Ability to build rapport and maintain positive relationships with students, colleagues, and caregivers
• Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
• Adaptability and patience when assisting students with a range of learning and behavioral needs

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct classroom support alongside special education teachers in self-contained settings
• Assist with the implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Support students with academic tasks, social skills, and behavior modification plans
• Monitor and document student progress under the guidance of educators
• Aid in classroom organization, activity preparation, and transitions throughout the school day
• Foster a welcoming, safe, and respectful learning environment for all students
