Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) – Veteran Disability Assessments

We are looking for a committed Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our organization in conducting medical evaluations for U.S. Veterans as part of the disability benefits assessment process. This position entails performing focused, in-person physical examinations and electronically reviewing medical records to fulfill the necessary documentation for the VA.

• Conduct in-person disability evaluations for U.S. Veterans.
• Analyze and review electronic medical records through a secure online portal.
• Document examination results accurately and complete the required VA forms.
• Offer medical opinions based on your assessment findings.

Note: This position does not involve treatment or prescribing medications. Disability decisions are made by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) , not by the healthcare provider.

• Schedule: Full-Time, Monday to Friday (8:30 AM - 4:30 PM).
• Location: In-person role.
• Caseload: 3-5 Veterans per day.
• Equipment Provided: Computer and all necessary documentation tools.

• Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in electronic documentation and web-based systems.
• A professional and empathetic approach when interacting with Veterans.

• Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license.
• Comfortable utilizing technology for record reviews and documentation.
