Caregiver - Nassau County
Job Summary:
At Comfort Touch Health Agency, we are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team in Nassau County, New York. As a Caregiver with our agency, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors across Long Island. Our Caregivers provide emotional support, light physical assistance, and a comforting presence that helps aging adults maintain independence and dignity in the comfort of their own homes. Responsibilities:
Provide companionship and emotional support to seniors in their homes, including conversation, light reading, and other activities
Assist with daily tasks, as needed
Help with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and laundry, as needed
Monitor and report any changes in clients' conditions, including signs of cognitive decline or other health concerns
Collaborate with family members and healthcare professionals to ensure clients receive comprehensive care
Maintain a safe and clean living environment for clients
Demonstrate respect, empathy, and understanding when working with clients and their families
Requirements:
Caregiver certification or completion of a caregiving training program
n/a years of experience in caregiving or a related field

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
Ability to lift, bend, and walk, with or without reasonable accommodations
Pass a background check and provide professional references
