Travel Registered Nurse - Infusion

Location: Utica, New York
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Days | 5x8-Hour Shifts
Local Candidates: Accepted (75-Mile Radius Rule Applies)

Weekly Gross Pay:
$2,900 to $3,100
Position Overview
NurseAmerica is seeking an experienced Outpatient Infusion RN for a 13-week travel assignment. The ideal candidate will have recent outpatient infusion experience, chemotherapy certification, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced infusion center caring for adult and geriatric patients.
Responsibilities

Administer chemotherapy, infusion therapies, and blood products

Monitor patients for treatment reactions and complications

Provide care for oncology, neurology, anemia, GI, and other infusion patients

Document and coordinate care using EPIC

Float as needed within assigned areas

Requirements

Active RN License

BLS & ACLS Certifications

Chemotherapy Certification

Minimum 1 year of Outpatient Infusion experience

Experience with blood product administration

Strong assessment and critical thinking skills

Technology & Equipment

EPIC, Omnicell, Ascom, Glucometer

Alaris Pumps & Elastomeric Pumps
