Travel Physical Therapist (PT) – General Rehab Joshua Tree, California Contract Duration: 13 Weeks (March 23, 2026 – June 22, 2026) Estimated Pay: $2353/week Schedule: Day Shift | 5x8 Hours (08:00 AM – 4:30 PM) Position Overview Trinity Healthcare Talent Services is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist (PT) for an assignment at Hi-Desert Medical Center in Joshua Tree, CA. The Physical Therapist will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care through evaluation, treatment planning, and implementation of rehabilitation programs. This role focuses on improving patient mobility, reducing pain, and restoring functional independence. Facility Information Facility: Hi-Desert Medical Center Setting: General Physical Therapy / Hospital-Based Work Environment: Acute care / rehab-focused setting Clinical Responsibilities Perform patient evaluations and functional assessments Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs Administer therapeutic exercises and modalities Use appropriate techniques considering indications and contraindications Set realistic functional goals with patients and families Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly Ensure accurate and compliant documentation Required Qualifications Active Physical Therapist License (State of CA required) BLS Certification (AHA required) Ability to perform evaluations, treatments, and care planning Strong clinical reasoning and patient care skills Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Schedule: Monday – Friday (5x8 hours) Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week Compliance Requirements Candidates must complete all onboarding requirements including: BLS Certification Drug screen & background check Skills checklist & competency validation Orientation and required training modules Key Notes Hospital onboarding required before start Must complete all compliance items before start date Standard hospital documentation and workflow expected Why Consider This Assignment Work in scenic Joshua Tree, CA Consistent weekday schedule Opportunity to work in a hospital-based rehab setting Gain valuable clinical experience in diverse patient care #J-18808-Ljbffr Trinity Healthcare Talent Services
