The role requires coordination of perioperative care for patients undergoing cardiothoracic procedures, with an emphasis on safety, efficiency, and strong communication with multidisciplinary teams.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts with a minimum of 36 hours per week, starting 08/31/2026
• Required Qualifications: RN license (Wisconsin RN or compact RN license), BLS certification from AHA, two years of acute care experience within the last three years in the specialty submitted for
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in OR open heart or cardiothoracic surgery, high acuity adaptable areas, level 1 or similar size hospitals with complex surgeries, and telemetry exam proficiency with strict passing criteria
• Certifications: BLS from AHA
• Skills: Cardiothoracic Surgery, VATS (Video-Assisted Thoracic Surgery), LVAD (Ventricular Assist Device), CABG (Coronary Artery Bypass Graft), thoracic procedures, and related advanced surgical skills
• Location: 600 Highland Ave, Madison, WI 53792
• Float: Float rotation may be required as needed
• Minimum experience: Inpatient RN travelers must have two years of acute care experience within the last 3 years in the specialty they are submitting to
