Radiology Technician Position

Location: Southampton, NY

Assignment Duration: This is a contract position with an initial duration of 4 weeks, with the possibility of extensions based on performance and departmental needs.

Schedule: 4 days a week, 10-hour shifts from 7 AM to 5 PM, including a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.

Job Description: The Radiology Technician will collaborate with radiologists and medical professionals to ensure the smooth execution of diagnostic imaging examinations and interventional radiology procedures. This role involves administering and monitoring intravenous contrast agents while effectively managing any allergic reactions or complications.

Responsibilities:

• Assist medical professionals during diagnostic imaging and interventional procedures.
• Administer and monitor intravenous contrast agents.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team for optimal patient care.
• Educate patients and families on pre- and post-procedure care.
• Document all nursing care accurately in line with hospital policies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in radiology.
• Certifications: BLS and ACLS required.
