Position Overview We invite you to join our compassionate team of imaging specialists as a Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist . You will utilize cutting-edge ultrasound technology to perform detailed diagnostic procedures, working alongside a collaborative team to ensure every patient encounters a journey enriched with trust and accurate imaging. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct a comprehensive range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
- Prioritize patient comfort and safety during evaluations, thoroughly explaining the process with empathy
- Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver high-caliber diagnostic images
- Manage and maintain imaging technology, swiftly reporting any equipment issues
- Document all procedures accurately and maintain precise electronic medical records
- Engage with the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging practices and techniques
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a similar field
- Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred
- Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent recognized body
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
- Proficient in sonographic imaging techniques and understanding patient positioning
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
