Technical Architect- Expert

Serve as a lead in drafting of requirements document to support development of a web-based data entry portal. The requirements document will entail analysis of current data organization and storage as well as technical guidance and recommendations for the business platform. Understanding and knowledge of application development and architecture is necessary as this position will serve as the technical expert to guide the establishment of expectations, design, and standards for, and be responsible for drafting of, technical and user documentation to support the development of the data entry portal. Guidance and recommendations in the identification of the best fit business platform as well as interfacing with NC DEQ IT to ensure compliance with proposed platform will be necessary.

Required skills include:

Basic SQL, database concepts and SQL commands
Intermediate SQL query development MS SQL Server
Stored procedure function, package, trigger, and view development MS SQL Server Database SQL Query Development SQL Server Administration, ESRI GIS
Microsoft Azure Microsoft SharePoint Microsoft SQL Reporting Services
Microsoft SQL Server 2008 and above- Expert Level, MS SQL Development /Architecture
Experience in drafting requirement documents to support development of a web-based data entry portal
Understanding and knowledge of application development and architecture
Experience in establishment of expectations, design, and standards for user documentation to support development entry portal.
