Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient nursing care to travel patients in a clinic setting.

• Assess patient conditions and document vital signs, symptoms, and medications accurately.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, privacy laws, and workplace safety.

• Administer medications and oversee treatment plans per physician orders.

• Coordinate patient care with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely follow-ups.

• Maintain meticulous charting and timely data entry in electronic health records.

• Monitor and manage clinical pipelines to identify high-potential cases and outcomes.

• Provide patient and family education on treatment plans, discharge instructions, and self-care.

• Identify opportunities for process improvements to boost patient throughput and quality.

• Participate in performance reviews and contribute to team targets with measurable outcomes.

• Support scheduling and greeting patients, ensuring an efficient outpatient flow.

Experience/Qualifications

• Current RN license valid in California with travel nursing eligibility

• Experience in outpatient or clinic-based nursing, with charting in EHR systems

• Ability to administer medications and implement physician orders safely

• Knowledge of HIPAA, privacy laws, and workplace safety regulations

• Strong documentation skills for vital signs, symptoms, and care plans

• Proven patient education and discharge instruction delivery

• Ability to coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams and follow up

• Strong time management to maintain efficient outpatient flow and throughput

• Experience with clinical pipelines or triage to identify high-potential cases

• Adaptability to a growth-oriented culture with performance-based recognition
