Government Analyst I

Government Analyst I is a Career Service position in the Florida Department of Corrections' Bureau of Intelligence Analytical Support, located at Central Office. The role conducts comprehensive intelligence analysis to support the Office of Intelligence by developing threat assessments, collaborating with multiple agencies, managing projects, and communicating findings to inform strategic decision-making across the correctional system. The position requires in-office reporting and involves analyzing crime patterns, utilizing business intelligence and geospatial tools, and serving as an intelligence liaison. Key qualifications Minimum 2 years professional experience in correctional or community corrections setting Minimum 2 years professional experience in criminal intelligence, military intelligence, law enforcement, or open-source investigations with Security Threat Groups knowledge Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and statistical software programs Working knowledge of STORMS (Security Threat Operational Review Management System) Ability to apply intelligence cycle and prepare comprehensive reports using analytical software including ESRI ArcGIS Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to work independently and collaboratively #J-18808-Ljbffr DGS Office of External Affairs
