Ready to take your engineering experience from concept to the production floor? At Shape, you’ll develop custom transformers and magnetic components for demanding applications and see your designs become real products.

We’re looking for a hands-on engineer who enjoys solving technical challenges, testing ideas, and working closely with the people who build them.

Your impact

· Create practical designs: Turn customer requirements into solutions that balance performance, reliability, manufacturability, and cost.

· Bring ideas to life: Develop prototypes, analyze test results, and troubleshoot design challenges.

· Improve how products are built: Partner with Manufacturing and Quality to strengthen products and processes.

· Connect engineering with business: Support customer applications, and product costing.

What you’ll bring

· A bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, or a related engineering discipline; electrical engineering preferred.

· At least 3 years of engineering experience in manufacturing or product development, including designing products for manufacturing.

· Proficiency in CAD and Excel, plus the ability to create and interpret drawings, specifications, and bills of material.

· Practical problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative approach.

Experience with transformers, magnetics, power electronics, or related electromechanical products is strongly preferred. Prototype testing, 3D CAD, and familiarity with UL, CSA, or IEC standards are also valuable.

Salary range is $65,000 to $75,000 annually. The salary offered within this range will be based on the candidate’s relevant skills and experience.
