Your Day
br p strongThe job responsibilities may include the following:/strong br ul liLoading and unloading cargo. liCommunicating with costumers to determine pickup and delivery needs. liReporting any incidents they encounter on the road to a dispatcher. liFollowing all applicable traffic laws. liReporting serious mechanical problems to the appropriate personnel. liKeeping truck and associated equipment in clean and good working order. liAccepting payments for shipments. liHandling paperwork, receipts, or delivery confirmations. liPlanning routes and meeting delivery schedules. liCollecting and verifying delivery instructions. liComplying with appearance standards and wearing a company uniform. liWorking weekends, holidays, or extended hours. liCarrying or lifting heavy objects as well as squatting, kneeling, bending, or crawling in awkward positions./ul br strongYou will also need to have:/strong br ul liA valid driver's license with a clean
