We are seeking a seasoned Senior Designer with strong expertise in Plant 3D and Civil 3D to lead design efforts on complex utility and infrastructure projects. We are seeking a seasoned Senior Designer with strong expertise in Plant 3D and Civil 3D to lead design efforts on complex utility and infrastructure projects. This role requires a hands-on technical leader who can drive design accuracy, support project delivery, and mentor junior team members. Key Responsibilities
- Lead advanced piping and civil design for transmission and facility projects
- Develop and review 3D models, layouts, and detailed design drawings
- Produce plan and profile drawings, P&IDs, and as-built documentation
- Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure design intent and project timelines are met
- Conduct design and model reviews, ensuring compliance with standards and specifications
- Mentor and guide junior and mid-level designers
- Perform field visits to validate site conditions and support design accuracy
- Support QA/QC processes and ensure high-quality deliverables
- 5 + years of professional design experience
- Proven experience in utility, infrastructure, or industrial projects
- Demonstrated leadership in design execution and team coordination
- Strong understanding of engineering drawing standards and construction practices
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- AutoCAD Plant 3D (expert level, hands-on)
- AutoCAD Civil 3D (expert level, hands-on)
- Strong experience with P&IDs, piping layouts, and plan/profile development
- Aveva E3D or similar 3D modeling platforms
- Experience working on utility or gas transmission projects
- Familiarity with industry codes and standards (API, ASME, ANSI)
