Job Summary and Responsibilities As a Paramedic, you will provide advanced emergency medical care and transport to critically ill or injured patients in pre‑hospital and inter‑facility settings. Every day you will rapidly assess scenes, evaluate conditions, and administer life‑saving interventions, while safely operating emergency vehicles and documenting care. To be successful, you will demonstrate expert clinical skills, exceptional critical‑thinking under stress, and compassionate communication, ensuring optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities Provide emergency medical treatment and transport to the sick and injured under your care in accordance with all applicable laws and department protocols and procedures. Document all patient care performed in the approved Patient Care Report program, using the required format. Ensure all required paperwork is completed and turned in by the end of shift. Ensure your equipment is in a state of readiness and cleanliness at the beginning of each shift and your ambulance is fully stocked in accordance with departmental procedures. Report any deficiencies and/or mechanical issues with your supplies, equipment, or vehicle to a supervisor in a timely fashion. Restock the unit as necessary. Attend any required education that is deemed necessary by the Director or the Medical Director. Job Requirements – Required Graduate of an accredited school of Paramedic Science, upon hire.
