Certified Veterinary Technician – Milford Veterinary Hospital
Location: Milford, NH Schedule: Full-Time | 4/10-hour shifts | No weekends Wage: $25–$30/hour
Milford Veterinary Hospital is looking for a Certified Veterinary Technician to join our six-doctor team! We are a full-service small-animal hospital committed to providing high-quality, compassionate care in a low-stress environment.
Our hospital is AAHA-accredited, Cat Friendly Certified®, and Fear Free Certified, giving our team the opportunity to work in a supportive practice with strong standards of care.
Our team provides a wide range of services, including:
- Wellness and preventive care
- In-house diagnostics and IDEXX laboratory testing
- Bloodwork, urinalysis, and fecal testing
- Digital radiology and ultrasound
- Digital dental radiography
- Routine and advanced surgical procedures
- Urgent care during business hours
- Pain management and laser therapy
- Cornerstone Software
The ideal candidate will have:
- Graduation from an AVMA-accredited veterinary technology or veterinary nursing program
- Successful completion of the Veterinary Technician National Examination (VTNE) or be VTNE eligible
- Proficiency with IV catheter placement
- Proficiency with venipuncture
- Strong communication and client service skills
- A team-oriented approach to patient care
- Surgical and dental experience preferred
