Qualifications:

• Current and valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
• Prior experience working in a school-based setting or with elementary-aged children is highly desirable
• Solid understanding of evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, and communication disorders
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with students, parents, and staff
• Ability to work independently onsite and manage a diverse caseload

Responsibilities:

• Assess and provide therapy services to elementary students with speech, language, and communication needs
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Document student progress and maintain accurate records per school and state guidelines
• Educate and collaborate with teachers, parents, and school personnel regarding students’ communication needs and intervention strategies
• Engage fully in all onsite activities, meetings, and evaluations at the assigned elementary location
• Stay up to date with best practices and compliance requirements for school-based SLP services
