Position Overview

Our organization is seeking a fellowship-trained, Board Certified or Board Eligible Medical Oncologist at the Assistant or Associate Professor level to enhance our Gastrointestinal (GI) Medical Oncology Program within the Division of Hematology and Oncology.

Position Highlights

The ideal candidate will possess specialized training and a keen clinical interest in managing adult gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary cancers. A strong commitment to clinical and/or translational research in these areas is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver both inpatient and outpatient oncology services at our medical center.
• Engage in weekly multidisciplinary GI oncology clinics alongside colleagues from surgical oncology, radiation oncology, pathology, and radiology.
• Initiate and conduct clinical and/or translational research focused on gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary malignancies.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care, research projects, and program development.
• Provide teaching and mentorship to hematology/oncology fellows, internal medicine residents, and medical students.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree.
• Completion of fellowship training in Hematology and Oncology.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Medical Oncology.
• Clinical proficiency in gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary malignancies.
• Proven interest in clinical and/or translational research.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary and benefits package, which includes:

• Starting salary ranging from $280,000 to $475,000, based on academic rank and experience.
