Quality Control Inspector

Eaton’s IS AER FED division is currently seeking a Quality Control Inspector to join our team in Bethel, CT! This is a 1st shift position with core hours from 7 am - 3:30 pm, Monday - Friday. The hourly range for this position is $27-$30 per hour. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. What you’ll do: Eaton's Bethel, CT facility is a premier manufacturer in the aerospace industry specializing with creating components for commercial, military, and space technologies. Our team helped support the recent Artimus 2 launch with 65 parts from the plant used in the launch. The Quality Control Inspector will support our QC department. This role involves extensive, detail-oriented documentation for package creation. In this role, you will: Read and interpret blueprints of machined and electronic parts Perform dimensional inspection of machined parts using calipers, micrometers, drop gages etc. Inspect electronics for soldering conformity. Validate that supplier certificates of conformity meet engineering specifications Inspect and certify quality control paperwork. Transact operations on electronic systems. Qualifications: Required (Basic) Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution required. Minimum 3 years of experience in a quality functional role in a manufacturing environment required.
