Allied / Tech - OT - Occupational Therapist
HCA Florida Blake Hospital (Level II Trauma Center) is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a travel position. The shift is from 08:00 AM to 04:00 PM, with 5 shifts per week and a total of 40 scheduled hours. The assignment starts on 06/10/2026 and ends on 09/09/2026, lasting 13 weeks.
The hospital is located at 2020 59th Street W, Bradenton, FL 34209. The facility features a 28-bed inpatient rehabilitation facility (IRF) and a 383-bed acute care hospital with an average census of 240. There are 15 occupational therapists on staff, including full-time, part-time, and per diem staff. The patient ratios are 4 patients per day in the IRF and 8-12 patients per day in acute care.
The typical hiring profile for this position includes candidates with weekend flexibility and willingness to work on the IRF unit. Critical thinking and clinical reasoning are essential skills. Hospital or IRF experience is highly preferred, as well as stroke or neuro experience. The unit performs evaluation, treatment, discharge, team conferences, family training, and uses adaptive devices and equipment.
The best fit for this unit is a flexible, team player, and collaborative individual. The minimum requirement is one weekend shift per month, with a preference for increased weekend flexibility. Active OT license and active BLS certification are required.
