Job Summary and Qualifications It is the responsibility of the staff respiratory therapist to demonstrate proficiency in all modalities of Respiratory Care and other multidisciplinary assigned skills as defined by training and competency demonstration. The Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for execution of assignments. All care will be in compliance with hospital and respiratory policies. May work with Respiratory Students in the clinical care setting. What qualifications you will need: Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date (RRT/RCP-State) Respiratory Therapist/Practitioner (NBRC-CRT) Certified Respiratory Therapist, or (NBRC-RRT) Registered Respiratory Therapist No Travel Required No experience Required Years of Experience PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS · All seasonal RNs are required to work a minimum of 72 hours per pay period during the seasonal period. · Within a close geography, you may be asked to float to another facility that has an emergent staffing need. · Four (4) weekend shifts are required each 4 week schedule period. · During the course of the 32-week period, the employee is required to work two (2) holiday shifts (defined by Department Manager or designee). · Seasonal Staff are PRN status employees and are subject to first call-off. There are no guaranteed hours by the hospital. · Seasonal Staff will not be eligible for extra shift bonuses (D1/CND or D2/ECD) · Registered Nurses who are in the Seasonal program will have one opportunity to pass the clinical competency evaluation. · Current FT/PT & PRN employees are not eligible to join the Seasonal program for 202627 with the exception of RNs that participated in the Seasonal program in the previous year. · Current employees of HWS are not eligible for the seasonal program.
