Promise Early Education Center is looking for you... Do you want to make a difference in the life of a child? WE ARE HIRING FOR AN IMMEDIATE OPENING! Minimum Starting rate of $25.00/hr. with Bachelors degree in related field. Other qualifications, degrees and experience will be compensated accordingly with a minimum of $22.50 hourly starting rate of pay The Family Advocate works as a liaison between Head Start families and program services, responsible for building trust, case management and connecting families with community resources to support the families goals. Key duties include home visits, family needs assessments, goal setting, recruitment and enrollment, record maintenance, and collaborating with other program staff like teachers Earn a great wage with benefits with the following additional compensation: College Degree in Social Work, Social and/or Behavioral Sciences, Human Services, Social Services, Advocacy or other related degree. - Maintain caseloads with children ranging from 0-5 years as well as prenatal mothers.
- Positively influence and interact with the child's/children while maintaining a strong understanding of safety/quality of service.
- Provide an effective and trusting relationship with children and families that creates a positive and receptive learning environment
- Develop individualized support plans per the family and child's/children's needs.
- Record and home visits and socialization attendance.
- Advocate for children and families and provide guidance and goal setting support for family success.
- Provide on-going support and crisis interventions through direct services as needed.
