Surgical RN Opportunity

The Surgical RN provides specialized nursing care to patients during intraoperative procedures within the operating room. They collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and successful surgical outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Administer preoperative and intraoperative nursing care to surgical patients.
• Assist surgeons and surgical teams with instrumentation and sterile technique.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes during surgery.
• Ensure all surgical equipment and supplies are properly prepared and functioning.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain sterile environment standards.
• Document all surgical procedures and patient responses accurately.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid CO RN license or Compact RN license in good standing.
• Obtain and maintain BLS and ACLS (AHA) certifications.
• Have at least 3 years of relevant clinical experience in surgery or perioperative care.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of surgical procedures and aseptic technique.
• Possess excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
