Accountant

salary: $30 - $35 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM
education: Bachelors

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and general ledger accounts.

• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close processes.

• Perform variance analysis on revenue and expense accounts to ensure accuracy.

• Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll auditing functions as needed.

• Assist external auditors by preparing required schedules and documentation.

• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal financial controls.

Skills

• Microsoft Excel (3 years of experience is preferred)
• Journal Entries (3 years of experience is preferred)
• Reconciliation (3 years of experience is preferred)
• General Accounting and Finance Skills (4 years of experience is preferred)
• General Ledger (3 years of experience is preferred)
• Financial Analysis (3 years of experience is preferred)
