DESCRIPTION OF WORK This position helps ensure that residents receive consistent, safe, and respectful nursing care in a supportive environment. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will perform the following duties: Health Assessment Support: Assist the RN by checking resident health status and ensuring accurate and confidential documentation Medication Management: Administer medications and treatments, verify pharmacy orders, and maintain accurate records Resident Observation: Observe residents for changes or concerns and report findings while documenting daily care activities Care Coordination: Work with the RN to help plan and adjust resident care and participate in nursing committees when needed Safety and Hygiene: Ensure residents are clean, safe, and well groomed while supporting infection control practices Specialized Care: Provide focused care for residents in specialty units such as Alzheimer care Interested in learning more? Work Hours and Additional Information: Full-time employment; 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week Work Hours: 2:45 PM - 11:15 PM, with a 30 minute lunch Rotating weekends and holidays. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Necessary Special Requirements: This position requires active authorization to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Pennsylvania. All employees possessing an active temporary practice permit must obtain licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse within the one (1) year period defined by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing. Other Requirements: PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title.
