Job Details
  • Develop Customized Treatment Plans: Assess patients' unique needs and establish tailored therapy strategies to help them meet their functional goals.
  • Implement Evidence-based Interventions: Apply scientifically supported methods to boost patients' fine motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily living activities.
  • Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work hand-in-hand with OTs, PTs, STs, medical doctors, and nursing staff to ensure that all-encompassing, well-rounded care is delivered.
  • Educate Patients and Families: Empower patients and their caregivers with knowledge on therapeutic techniques to ensure continued progress beyond sessions.
  • Monitor Progress and Adjust Treatment: Keep diligent records of clinical outcomes and modify treatment plans as needed to keep patients on track.
Education
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational institution.
  • Encouragement for ongoing education or advanced certifications supported.
Required Certifications
  • Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license in Kansas.
  • NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory.
