Position Overview

PrideStaff is seeking a motivated, bilingual Fleet Operations Coordinator for An opportunity with a growing fleet management and driver support company in San Diego. This is a unique opportunity to join a developing operation at an early stage and play a hands-on role in its growth. The Fleet Operations Coordinator will help manage day-to-day fleet activity, serve as the primary point of contact for drivers, coordinate vehicle onboarding and maintenance, and assist with driver recruitment and fleet utilization.

The position will begin part-time, with on-site presence required for key vehicle and driver activities. Some administrative, marketing, and driver recruitment responsibilities may be performed remotely based on operational needs.

For a high-performing individual, this position has significant potential to grow in responsibility as the company's San Diego fleet expands.

Key Responsibilities

· Serve as a primary point of contact for drivers through WhatsApp, phone, and text. Resolve routine operational issues and appropriately escalate more complex matters.

· Help identify, recruit, and engage qualified professional drivers through online marketplaces, social media, referrals, and other outreach channels. Support efforts to maintain strong vehicle utilization as the fleet grows.

· Screen and onboard new drivers, verify required credentials, execute rental agreements, collect security deposits, and ensure required documentation is completed.

· Conduct detailed vehicle inspections and photograph vehicle condition during driver pickup, return, and vehicle swaps.

· Coordinate routine maintenance and repairs with service partners, assist drivers experiencing vehicle issues or breakdowns, and coordinate reserve vehicle swaps when required.

· Track vehicle availability, utilization, driver assignments, and rent collections using internal operations software.

· Maintain accurate driver files, commercial insurance documentation, vehicle registrations, agreements, inspection records, and other operational records.

· Provide professional, responsive service to drivers while independently managing multiple operational priorities.

· Work directly with ownership to identify opportunities to improve processes, driver acquisition, fleet utilization, and the overall San Diego operation.

Required Qualifications

· Fluent in Spanish and English, both written and spoken.

· Experience in fleet operations, car rental, rideshare/TNC operations, dealership service, transportation, logistics, dispatch, customer-facing operations, or a related environment.

· Valid California Driver's License and acceptable driving record.

· Comfortable driving and maneuvering full-size SUVs for vehicle handoffs and swaps.

· Ability to work independently and make sound operational decisions.

· Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.

· Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

· Comfortable working in an entrepreneurial environment where responsibilities may evolve as the business grows.

· Ability to work on-site in San Diego as required by fleet operations.

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience recruiting, selling, or developing relationships with drivers or customers.

· Experience with rental car, fleet management, dealership, transportation, or logistics operations.

· Familiarity with the San Diego professional driver or rideshare community.

· Working knowledge of TCP regulations, DMV processes, or commercial automobile insurance.

· Arabic or Farsi language skills.

· Military logistics, transportation, motor transport, dispatch, or operations experience.
