Whether an off-the-shelf or custom solution is needed, we’ll create a solution and push the data on the best cloud platform to fit your needs, including your own.Job DescriptionJob description We are looking for a passionate Geospatial Data Analyst who is hands on with PostgresSQL and PostGIS along with Google Maps API. Certification would be a bonus. Primary role will be ability to liaison with non-IT counterparts, interpret business requirements as analytical steps, ability to gather and interpret relevant data and information, analyze it under the constraints of the problem at hand and provide reports/presentations that drive answers to business questions. The successful candidate will turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions. Job Responsibilities • Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports • Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets • Filter and “clean” data and proactively identify problems with data and code generating them • Work with management to prioritize business and information needs • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities Skillset requirements RDBMS Database : PostGRES, Oracle 11g GIS Database : PostGIS, Oracle Spatial GIS Tools : QGIS, JavaScript API, ArcMap, PostESRI , FME Workbench Languages : PL/SQL (4 years), Python (2 years) Operating System : Windows, Linux Other tools : MS Excel, MS Powerpoint Qualifications BS/MS BS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics Experience 5+ years in PostGRES, PostGIS, QGIS, Node.js/ AngularJS , Google Maps API, Oracle, ETL methods, Docker.
