Role Description The Heating Air Conditioning Technician is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Madison Heights, MI. This role is responsible for installing, inspecting, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems, including heating, cooling, ventilation, and related mechanical components. Day‑to‑day tasks include diagnosing system issues, performing troubleshooting and preventive maintenance, checking system performance and safety, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and regulations. The technician will interact with clients and internal teams, document work performed, and recommend improvements or upgrades to enhance system efficiency and reliability. The role may also involve limited plumbing and electrical work related to HVAC systems, as well as support for other mechanical services when needed. Qualifications Strong mechanical and HVAC skills, including troubleshooting and preventive maintenance Knowledge of plumbing systems as they relate to HVAC installations and repairs Understanding of electricity and electrical components used in heating and air conditioning equipment EPA certification or equivalent qualification for handling refrigerants Relevant technical training or apprenticeship in HVAC or mechanical systems Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals Reliable problem‑solving skills and attention to safety and regulatory compliance Effective communication, teamwork, and customer service skills Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally to job sites as required #J-18808-Ljbffr
