Electrophysiology Technician

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

4x10 Days, from 07:00 to 17:30, with variable days off.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrophysiology Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will participate in procedures for patients undergoing coronary device implants and diagnostic electrophysiology (EP) procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist in performing procedures such as pacemaker and ICD implants, EP studies, and ablations.
• Utilize mapping and ablation technologies, including Biosense Webster and Abbott systems.
• Handle equipment like IABP, Impella, and ICE machines effectively.
• Maintain a sterile environment during procedures and ensure patient safety.
• Prepare and monitor patients throughout different electrophysiological procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Electrophysiology Technician.
• Current Washington State Radiology (WA RAD) license or Washington Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (CIS) license required.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT, and either RCIS or RCES.
• Experience working with EPIC electronic health record system.
