Chief Executive Officer

Job Duties

Strategically oriented leadership for an electric and telecom utility. Manage a team of 4 managers and 30 employees. Oversees daily operations, managing cooperative's financial performance, implementing board policies, and represents the cooperative throughout the communities it serves. Advocates for cooperatives at the local, state, and national level.

Minimum Education Required

Bachelor's Degree preferred, an Advanced Degree will set you apart. Education or experience in accounting/finance, engineering, or business is preferred.

Minimum Experience Required

At least five years of progressive leadership is required. At least five years of utility experience is required. A solid understanding of power suppliers and contracts. Experience interacting with public officials and legislators is preferred. Electric cooperative experience and understanding of cooperative values is a plus. Working knowledge of the broadband business model.
