Registered Nurse (RN) - Dialysis

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with specialization in Dialysis to join our team. This position involves providing high-quality care in an acute and outpatient setting while ensuring the safety and comfort of patients undergoing dialysis treatment.

Responsibilities

Administer dialysis treatments to patients in accordance with established protocols.
Monitor patients' health and identify any changes in condition throughout treatment.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Document all patient care activities and maintain accurate records according to regulations.
Educate patients and their families about dialysis procedures and post-treatment care.
Float to other dialysis locations as needed to meet departmental needs.
Participate in on-call duties as required.

Schedule

This position offers a guaranteed weekly schedule of 40 hours, with shifts scheduled Monday to Friday from 5:30 AM to 6:00 PM. The schedule may include combinations of 2-12 hour shifts, 2-8 hour shifts, or 4-10 hour shifts, along with rotating Saturdays to accommodate operational requirements.

Qualifications

Current and valid RN licensure.
Minimum of 1 year of Dialysis nursing experience required.
Experience in both acute and outpatient dialysis settings preferred.
Strong clinical skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to float to various dialysis locations as needed.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to patient care and possess a strong understanding of dialysis procedures and patient management. A proactive approach and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment are essential.
