Senior Transportation Project Manager

Otak is seeking a Senior Transportation Project Manager to join our Portland, OR or Vancouver, WA office to oversee the delivery of resilient, accessible, and context-sensitive civil and active transportation projects. As a senior member of our Transportation and Infrastructure Group, you will lead projects from concept through construction, guide multidisciplinary teams, and collaborate with clients to deliver safe, sustainable, and community-focused transportation solutions across Oregon and Southwest Washington. You will build a community-centered portfolio by shaping and delivering municipal roadways, multi-use trails, bridges, underpasses, and civic improvements, while engaging in purpose-driven work that enhances community connectivity and environmental quality. The Strengths You Bring Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field from an accredited institution. Professional Engineer (PE) license, with the ability to obtain registration in Oregon and Washington within six (6) months. 15+ years of progressive experience in civil engineering, with an emphasis on transportation, infrastructure, drainage, and utility design. Strong technical background in roadway, multimodal, and transit infrastructure design. Demonstrated proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation/OpenRoads, or similar design software. Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results Salary *Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only.
