STEWARD/DISHWASHER AT THE HART & HUNTER RESTAURANT | PALIHOTEL SEATTLE

POSITION PROFILE:

We're looking for an upbeat, team-focused Steward/Dishwasher to help us maintain a clean kitchen, from guest dishware, to cooking equipment and prep stations.

Palihotel Seattle is home to The Hart and The Hunter, our laid-back Americana diner featuring elevated diner classics and easygoing cocktails. Established in Los Angeles in 2012, this family-friendly and cheerful Pike market adjacent neighborhood spot offers crave-worthy dishes such as Smoked Corn Beef Hash, Griddled Sandwiches, Pie à la Mode, Savory or Sweet Waffles, and other delights! Cocktails range from seasonal specialties to the classics done right. TASKS AT HAND:

• Making sure all cooking equipment, cutlery, china and work stations are clean at all times.
• Working efficiently so all equipment, glassware, flatware, and dishware are properly stocked and ready for service.
• Helping to maintain all equipment, glassware, china and cutlery in order to preserve quality.
• Coordinating with Kitchen Management on cleaning and maintenance of equipment.
• Collecting and placing produce, proteins and other necessary ingredients in their respective places.
• Sweeping kitchen floors before and after service.
• Cleaning the walk-in fridge and making sure all food storage areas are clean.
• Maintaining the kitchen cleaning schedule.
• Working positively and professionally with the kitchen team to ensure a smooth operation and an enjoyable workplace for all.

• Demonstrates a full understanding of their role and carries it out in line with their job description.

• Communicates clearly, professionally and concisely whilst actively listening to others and giving consideration to their needs and opinions.
• Tries to take the bigger picture into consideration and is confident as to when and where to seek guidance and clarity from senior members of the team.
