Job Description

This contract position calls for a highly skilled imaging professional who is proficient with nuclear medicine equipment and sophisticated processing systems, making a direct impact on patient diagnostic outcomes.

Schedule:

• Day shift, four 10-hour shifts (06:00 17:30)
• Every other weekend required
• On-call rotation: One week per month (weekdays from end of shift to 23:00, weekends 07:0023:00)
• Flexibility to work major holidays based on assignment period
• Floating within facility and scope of practice as needed

Qualifications:

• Minimum of two years nuclear medicine experiencefirst-time travelers not considered
• Active BLS, ARRT(R), and NMTCB certifications required
• Demonstrated proficiency with Epic, PACS (including Fuji Synapse 5), Xceleris processing system, Philips Skylight, and Siemens Symbia Evo
• Skilled with AtomLab960 Thyroid Probe/Well Counter, Capintec CRC-55tR and CRC-15 Beta dose calibrators, LudLum Model 14C, and Bicron 2000 survey meters
• Adaptable to changing department needs and able to float as necessary

Core Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality nuclear medicine imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort
• Accurately process and analyze imaging data using advanced systems
• Administer and calibrate radiopharmaceuticals and manage radiation safety according to best practices
• Collaborate efficiently with multidisciplinary teams and support ongoing workflow within the unit
• Maintain compliance with facility protocols and participate in required orientations per contract
