Administrator Claims

Ahold Delhaize USA associates support the brands with a wide range of services, including Finance, Legal, Sustainability, Commercial, Digital and E-commerce, Technology and more. Overview Administrator Risk Management is responsible for a wide variety of administrative and clerical duties that support both internal and external customers. This role supports the claims and insurance areas of Risk Management. Our flexible/hybrid work schedule includes 3 in-person days at one of our core locations and 2 remote days. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Responsibilities Provides superior customer service answering and routing telephone calls/exchanging information/fielding requests appropriately. Timely manage/respond to department emails/fax transmittals. Enter newly reported claims into the claims management system. Prepare correspondence, department reports, and other documentation as needed. Review and complete task queues/diaries. Maintain complete/accurate vendor records and financial records. Electronic/manual payment entry within authority limits. Obtain payroll information needed to complete wage statements and as needed in the investigation of claims. Develop a working knowledge of internal policies and procedures. Provide backup support for team members, support projects assigned by Supervisor as needed. Additional job duties may be assigned as needed to meet the needs of the business and support our Values. Requirements High School diploma or equivalent. Ability to maintain confidentially. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. A desire for self-development through on-the-job training and self-development opportunities. Strong time management skills. Exceptional organizational skills. Ability to multi-task with constant interruptions. Develop and maintain relationships with associates, employers, and attorneys. Proficient in Office 365 and other business-related software. Must be able to work under pressure while meeting deadlines and maintaining accuracy.
