The Intermediate Care (IMU) Unit at Memorial Hermann Southeast Hospital serves a diverse and dynamic patient population. Our nurses provide care for patients recovering from post-PCI procedures, those with renal or respiratory conditions, and many other complex medical needs. Qualifications BSN highly preferred or willing to enroll in BSN program BLS (American Heart Association) certification required Minimum of 2 years of acute inpatient care experience preferred Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing (Bachelors of Nursing preferred) Current State of Texas license or temporary/compact license to practice professional nursing Certified in Basic Life Support; additional certifications may be required based on discipline and/or nursing unit requirements Experience levels: RN I ( Job Description Collaborates with the physician and healthcare team in the delivery of patient care, utilizing the nursing process; provides professional nursing care to patients, including conducting nursing assessments, assisting with exams and treatment, patient education, and maintenance of medical records. Primary accountabilities include delivering safe and appropriate care, coordinating planning with the interdisciplinary team, administering clinical decisions, collaborating with and delegating to the team, coordinating treatment plans and discharge/transfer plans, participating in continuous evaluation of programs and process improvement, adhering to regulatory standards, ensuring safe care for patients, staff and visitors, promoting professional growth, and serving as preceptor or mentor as needed. #J-18808-Ljbffr
