Field Service Technician - 3083USA:MO:Independence | Shop & Field Service Support | Full-TimeThe Field Service Technician will repair, fabricate, install and remove a variety of centrifugal, gear, diaphragm, and reciprocating pumps as well as other related rotating equipment, both in-shop and in the field; also, system troubleshooting, field alignment and equipment start-up, maintain company vehicles and shop equipment, accurately and professionally complete all field tickets and job reports.Responsibilities of the Field Service Technician include, but are not limited to:Install and repair industrial pumps and rotating equipmentAll brands of centrifugal pumpsPositive displacement plunger pumpsGear pumpsDiaphragm pumpsQualifications of the Field Service Technician include, but are not limited to:2 years pump experienceExperience with rotating equipment repair requiredAcceptable driving record required according to company guidelinesAdditional Information:Physical Demand: Lift 50 lbs.Working Conditions: Shop and fieldTraining/Certifications: N/AShift Time/Overtime: Monday - Friday: 7 am - 4 pm; "On-call" service at locations outside of normal working hoursTravel: Local driving to customer locationsEducation: High School DiplomaDXP offers a comprehensive benefits package for full-time regular employees, normally working a minimum of 30 hours per week, including: medical, dental, vision, flexible spending account, paid holidays, life and disability insurance, and additional supplemental benefits.
