Senior Associate - Global Transaction Analytics

Senior Associate – Global Transaction Analytics Alvarez & Marsa’s Global Transaction Analytics practice is looking for a skilled Senior Associate to join a fast‑growing team across multiple U.S. locations. The role revolves around providing data‑driven insights for clients throughout the M&A lifecycle, from pre‑deal due diligence to post‑acquisition performance improvement. Responsibilities Assist with numerous client engagements across diverse industries. Facilitate day‑to‑day client interaction and relationship management. Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver actionable insights. Mentor and develop junior team members, enhancing the team’s technical acumen. Recruit, train, and support junior staff to build a high‑performance team. Qualifications Minimum 3+ years of experience in data analytics or transaction services. Preferred: Buy‑side/vendor due diligence experience across industries. Preferred: Understanding of the M&A/PE investment lifecycle. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field. Strong background in data extraction, manipulation, analytics, and visualization. Hands‑on expertise in Microsoft Excel, relational databases/SQL querying, Alteryx, business intelligence/visualization (Tableau preferred), big data, and machine learning concepts. Ability to leverage business intelligence software to support decision makers. Excellent communication skills—capable of explaining complex technical concepts in a clear, concise manner. Proven project management and interpersonal skills. Adaptability to both collaborative team settings and independent work. Thrives in fast‑paced, dynamic environments. Benefits Base salary is $130,000 annually, dependent on education, experience, skills, and location. A discretionary bonus program is available based on individual and firm performance.
